Look at this lovely Miss at three months old. I had the great pleasure of visiting this family at their home today and capturing this short period of infanthood with their new baby girl, Jaymee. Big sister was there too and was eager to show off her little sister. She was all cuddles and songs for her baby sister who was a little fussy at times. But with the gentle child-croon of some made up song about strawberries, baby girl would calm down and flashed in and out of sle
This Sunday morning I spent with this family outside on the trails in the leaves. These girls are just so beautiful and cute and really, really love each other. It was darling to see. And being only a year apart, you know that they are going to grow up close and best friends as they get older. Could parents wish for anything more? So happy to spend a few hours with you running through the leaves and pulling the girls in the wagon. That had to be the biggest hit of the da
Well, it's been 6 months since I last saw this little guy as a newborn babe last spring. I barely recognize him now that he's awake, alert and a big handsome baby. He was all smiles for us at our mini fall session on the creek. Aren't those cheeks and smiles something else?? So happy to see you again, little man!! And I can't wait to get a few more pictures for Christmas!!
Do you remember these guys? It wasn't too long ago that I met up with them on the Lakeshore to get some lovely family photos. I was delighted to get a call to have some fall mini sessions done too. I am hoping they stick around in Canada through the four seasons so we can capture it all! I just love these little ones. They are so precious and full of spunk. And ever, ever so stylish, the just belong on the cover of a magazine. I am so glad we had such a gorgeous fall af
Last weekend, this lovely family came back to see me and get some more photos done now that their little darling is almost two! It was very fall-like but with a bite of winter in the hair. We even got a few flurries mid-afternoon and then right at the beginning of this photoshoot. It was a little chilly but also quite magical. I have to admit I am not quite ready for fall to be over yet, but it was a sweet little moment. I first photographed little Addison when she was on
There was a great, great chance of rain today which almost meant we had to move indoors to take some photos with these spunky little ones. I am sure glad that the rain held off for a bit so the kids could explore the forest and "go for a hike" around the creek, because I am pretty sure they would have been ping-ponging off the studio walls. And let's just be honest. I love working outside. All. The. Time. If I had it my way, I would rather bundle up in my snow gear and tr
Welcome into a family of five little Sebastian. When I walked up to the front door of this house, I was greeted happily by the two oldest children who helped me carry everything inside. Chalked onto the brick beside the front door was "Sabastian we love you and Mommy!" There is definitely a whole lot of love in this newly expanded family of five. Having grown up in the house of five people myself, I can attest to the noise and craziness that a family of this size (even if
Yesterday was one of the warmest fall days that we will likely have for the rest of the season. And the colours were really spectular. I sent hours with this couple from Scarborough down by the creek. The leaves had carpeted the river rocks along the shores and it is really magical down there right now. They drove all the way across the city to be at this location. That is how breathtaking it is. Wouldn't you agree?
Sunday morning, I met this lovely mama to be in James Gardens for a walk around and photoshoot in the park. It was really, really gorgeous Sunday morning so we lucked out, because the rain and snow wasn't long after. So looking forward to meeting the daddy of this baby soon to join us. And meeting baby too! Your mama sure loves you and can't wait to meet you!
Today was definitely a chilly, chilly day--with sun and clouds and rain and snow.... We braved the elements this afternoon. There was the feeling that we are very quickly moving from fall into winter without much delay. But, is it possible the the trees could get any lovelier?? Spent a little bit of time with this young family stomping in the leaves. Little miss was 100% committed to going for a walk so that is what we did!! A walk and a stomp in the orange/gold/red folia
