Toronto West / Mississauga East Photographer | An Early Surprise
Baby L came a month early surprising everyone and had to spend a couple of weeks in the NICU. A month later, when he was supposed to be born he's still tiny and newborn looking and sleepy. In fact he slept for almost the entire four hours I was photographing him. He is incredibly handsome and adored by his big sister who smiled and kissed him and didn't want to miss a moment of photographing him. Here he is! #photo

Toronto West / Mississauga East Photographer | Evening Light on the Lakeshore
Spent the evening yesterday with these two lovelies (and their parents) running around the Lakeshore at Humber Lake Shores exploring some of their favorite little spots. One of my favorite times to photograph is in the early evening, when the light is glowy and beautiful and the shadows are long and soft. It is the perfect time to capture little people as they try to outrun the setting of the sun. As the late afternoon turned to early evening, we looked for snakes and snail

Toronto West / Mississauga East Photographer | Flitting through the flower fields at the farm
This weekend, we spent a night with friends at at their farm in Collingwood. We drove the children around in the gator, looked for crayfish and frogs in the stream and let them run through the wild flowers--all purple blossoms this time of year. There is nothing quite like running through the flowers to make a young girl feel like a butterfly. Kate was a little chatterbox, all aflutter with talk of fairies and butterflies and sniffing flowers in the warm glow of the sun
