Baby Kaelen is just about the tiniest little baby I have ever held in my arms. What a miracle to be able to hold this small beauty and capture him on his due date, a month after his early birth at 3 lbs. Looking at these, it is hard to remember that he actually didn't really sleep while we took photos, every single movement of a finger, a strap, a twig caused him to jerk awake. A month in the NICU meant that baby Kaelen is very used to a lot of noise and the quiet environment of his home has meant an adjustment to new surroundings. And yet somehow we managed to get so many sleeping pictures.
