Toronto West / Mississauga East Photographer | Maximus at 15 days | Toronto Newborn
Yesterday, I photographed this little newborn Max in his family home. Just past the sleepy, sleepy phase, Max is 15 days old. A lot of babies cry at this age when they are tired and can't get to sleep, but Max was the strong silent type.
When I arrived at the family home, I immediately felt welcomed and like I had known Max's parents forever. There home is gorgeous and comfortable (despite the major renovations going on). The grandpa, the retired Chief of the Toronto Fire Department, stopped by with his hat which we were able to incorporate into the shoot, as well as a handmade tool box, made and used by Max's papa. And a pair of Muay Thai boxing gloves, which is really how mama and papa met and connected.
It was one of the most relaxed shoots I have ever done. Nothing was rushed. I felt like I could have spent all day drinking coffee on that front porch in the sunshine, which is what I am sure mama and papa may spend a few mornings or afternoons doing this summer. So so lovely to meet you and cuddle with Max yesterday! He is such a handsome, sweet little guy!
